Yay! Jackie and Karl are engaged! 
He asked her last night at Beaubien’s campfire and it was wonderful.
I have photos but they are still on my camera…earliest they’ll be up is the 15th but realistically they’ll be up after Gather, so check back later.

How long are you in NM? I started writing a letter then realized I didn’t know when you’d be leaving…
Another “yay!”…I have a teaching job! Sorry I wasn’t able to call and let you know right when it happened–my stupid cell phone went into car kit mode (?) and become practically useless just as all these calls for interviews started coming in! (Also…are you even available by cell right now? When do you get back to K-town/civilization?) Anyway, I have a new phone, and a new job (second grade at Deerwood!!). Loving it so far. When you get back to town we should catch up. And of course you are welcome to come see my classroom if you’d like to…let me know! Love ya!
