Sock Progress + Daily Photo
Starting to look pretty good! Between Knit Night and the Women’s Gym Team Finals (ugh, USA, just ugh), these are actually about halfway through the heel-flap now. (Perfectly matching stitch marker courtesy of Jennie, natch.)
There are new people moving into my complex with the new semester. I hope they saw me outside taking pictures of my sock-in-progress (the only grass is out between the condos, none on the patios) and thought “Wow, that girl is really weird” or something to that effect. =)

The sock is looking super! (I assume it fits?) Last night was disappointing…we all rush home to see that
when we were up in the Canadian Shield, though, (about even with the upper peninsula of michigan) it was quite chilly. Canada isn’t below freezing 365 days a year, but it is A LOT cooler than where you are.
When I knit in the bars, people give me that “…Right….uh huh?” look all the time. I like to make people feel awkward when I knit, because I try to do it in the weirdest places. It’s one small step for awkwardness and one giant leap for knitting kind!

Unfortunately, most places are cooler than where I am.
I keep reading on other blogs how they can feel Fall beginning and it makes me so jealous! It is definitely still summer here. =)
