Holiday Knitting
Some people are stressing about holiday knitting. Tomorrow morning, I'll start mailing off Christmas gifts. The fact that the particular item I'm mailing was for Christmas 2006 is mostly irrelevant. Mostly. Here's a sneak preview:
Most of the things I'm working on these days are gifts, so I don't want to show the full item. But I suppose sneak previews can't hurt, right?
I think the future owner of the above pink fringe will probably realize what it is as soon as she sees it...but that's ok. =) She actually picked out (and paid for! whoop!) the yarn on a trip a while back, and should be receiving the FO in the mail very soon!
Hopefully this one will be a bit more of a surprise:
It's December in one hour! Eek!

Looks good. Hey I posted my finished Foliage hat. I am proud for how it turned out! Have a good one!
They look lovely! That pink is just too gorgeous.
ONLY 1686 PEOPLE AHEAD OF ME IN RAVELRY!!! Just thought you would be excited to know!
Hey there - the gifties look lovely! Great work on getting Christmas stuff done. I've still got things to do, but am not going to get them done. Mostly because DH and I made a snap decision to visit my sister in Dallas/Fort Worth over the holidays. Not sure where in Texas you are based (sorry, I'm Canadian and Texas A&M does not clue in for me), but would love to hear if you know of any good yarn shops in the Dallas/Coppell area. Need to get some souvenir yarn and my sister is yet to be converted to a knitter. Any ideas would be welcome. We're hoping to get to San Antonio for a day or two, so if you know of anything there, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks for your help. Chris S.
